We had a birthday!!

Well the S-man turned 6!! I think he was really excited about it!! He looks a little scared in this picture. I think it is because of the six flames he is afraid will catch his face on fire. He wanted a chocolate Transformer cake - 1/2 Decepticon, 1/2 Autobot. I got some white icing and handed it to the K-man. Looks pretty good if you ask me - it has given the J-man a lot of CRAZY ideas of what his Transformer cake will look like. (If you haven't guessed - we are having a Transformer Christmas)
Doesn't the icing hanging off S-man's nose look yummy?
Well if you must know the extent of my pigness here it is. After we all had a piece I said to K "You know if we don't get rid of this cake, I will eat it all in the next few days - all by myself. We have to just throw it away." At this point in the conversation we switched over to Spanish because K had other ideas for the cake. I was worried it might make someone cry - but by doing it to both of the boys we avoided that problem. An excuse was made that I needed another picture of them biting the cake and K did his job flawlessly! I mean look at S-man's head - you can only see his hair - so cool!!

J made sure there was no crying - it was instant, crazy, loud laughter. J-man fell off his stool and was literally rolling on the ground busting up.

In fact he told me he wants this to be his Star of the Week picture. I mean what boy wouldn't want this picture in the halls of his school to be his representation.

These are the sad shoes that had to be retired. We were actually in NYC for the week of Thanksgiving with my whole family (except Dan and fam). I am guilty of not taking one picture - so lame! My SIL's had their cameras so there is photo representation somewhere in the country. These are the shoes my brother looked at on the crowded subway and said to me, loudly "what does their dad do for a living?!" As if profession should influence shoe buying - but I do agree they were in need of new shoes. In fact I got so much CRAP for it in NY that within days of returning they got new shoes. (In my defense I HATE TO SHOP!) People were even texting me to make sure they got new shoes - it is done, and they are happy. Our NY trip was AWESOME!! I thought it was going to be quite painful - 13 people in a 2 bedroom apt - but it was perfect. We did tons of traveling and EATING!! There are some seriously grubbing cookie, cupcake, restaurants there. We did the Martha Stewart show (FREAKINFANTABULOUS!!) I felt like I had been on a roller coaster by the end - I was exhausted from being so enthusiastic. We did the Rockettes show and went backstage afterwards because I have a SIL with connections. We did the Macy parade balloon blowing up event, the Museum of Natural History, soccer in central park, and some more eating. I even was successful in getting k a whole duck in Chinatown that he said was the best. He ate it for 2 weeks. I am sure I have forgotten some big events but I am old and pregnant.

We are in a tiny apartment until we move - and knowing my laziness and grinchness - I refused to put up a tree. Instead we taped a paper one up and decorated it. You may be asking yourself - why is there a big black goblin in the middle of the tree? I think the answer "he's a boy!" answers that question sufficiently.
We got some snow!!! The boys were stoked - and out there maximizing their snowman building time. I stayed inside and watched them warmly through a window.

Here is a prego picture that some have been wanting to see. I made my friend take it at her house, and if you are not satisfied - TOUGH CRAP!! I don't know if it shows the belly enough, but it does show that my clothes are too tight. I am huge -this was taken today 33 weeks and counting. Although at my appointment on Monday they said they would most likely induce Jan 27th if she doesn't come earlier (yeah right - they NEVER come early). I get another ultrasound in Jan to determine size - if the little lady is too big she may come even earlier. Just 6 weeks to go!!! I should really get on choosing a name - any suggestions are welcome. Quick story for my memory. The other night K was laying down with the boys and I was in the other room. They were talking of names for the baby. Then I hear S say "don't name her I CUP its a trick", he was dead serious. If you don't know the trick spell I CUP!!

Catch up again!!

Oh the laziness - or should I say sickness. I mean we have all been healthy, I just tend to feel really tired. This baby - who is a GIRL!! Kept me barfing till 25 weeks, now I am 29 weeks and barf free. Currently I am really tired and officially gestational diabetic - what a pain. Who in the crap wants to prick their finger 4 times a day. I am sorry for all those who do it all the time. If you want to know what the little lady with no name looks like - close your eyes and imagine and ultrasound picture - YOU GOT IT!! That is what she looks like. K has taken to calling her sushi, I don't think that is going to go away even when we have a proper name. I keep reminding him he is NOT Japanese, and raw fish wrapped in seaweed and rice is not a good nickname for the 1st girl in the family. Here are some pics catching up on all the boring things you have missed.

Here is J at football camp. Whoever thought I would have a child who LOVED football. I don't think we will be doing a league, but he loved the 4 day camp he went to. They did real drills, running, dropping, catching, and tackling. He did this after a whole day of regular camp. He would go to day camp from 9-3 and football camp from 6-9 at night. That kid has more energy than he knows what to do with. GIVE IT TO ME!! Usually there would be a scrimmage everyday and he was PARANOID of being skins. I had to go tell the guy in charge that he had to be a shirt because there was NO WAY he was going to take his shirt off!! What a funny kid..

We went to CA for 3 weeks in August. K didn't come and as the day drew near to leave I wondered - what the HECK am I doing!! Serious I must have been smoking some serious crack. I didn't puke a ton in CA but I didn't feel that well either. We lived our lives on the Wii. At least 2 of the 3 weeks I had another boy cousin staying with us. My boys could not get enough of their cousins. We camped in Santa Barbara with our family - it was so fun and DIRTY!!

We also visited Legoland - 2 days of fun. We have never been and it was a blast. It is amazing what those crazy people have done with legos. We spent the night in a hotel near by which always makes the kids happy as can be. Why are hotels so exciting for them?

K and I escaped for a few days on a cruise to the Bahamas. Here is K in some thing - yeah I forget the name. What I remember about this day is of course the WATER!! Honestly how can the water be so clear, and so PERFECT!! I could have chilled in the water the whole trip. The temperature was so perfect that there were people loungin in the water alcoholic drinks in hand. CRAZY!! K didn't go in because he is not a fan of water - weirdo. I was a little irritated we didn't get to go snorkeling but the ship said no pregos on excursions. After the trip to the beach k pulled out his map and said lets go. That is right - unlike normal people who go in a safe group of tourists on a bus to explore - k wanted to do it on foot. So we walked, and walked, and walked. I was nervous at times because we were obviously the only tourists around, but it was all fine and fun in the name of exploring. I probably walked 6 miles that day which lead to many cases of braxton hicks as we were truckin along.

We did a weekend to Niagara and Palmyra NY a couple of weekends ago. Here is a pic of the Moroni Monument in Palmyra. What is so significant about this you say - well have you seen the Hill Cumorah this thing sits on. How could my child resist - it was very easy for me to resist. ROLLING DOWN the hill - 3XS I might add. He felt a little ill after. J kept begging and I thought, GO FOR IT! So J rolled, S ran, and K threw their shoes that fell off down the hill.

Here we are suited up for our trip around the falls. We stayed on the Canada side for a night and had a blast. The Canadian side is WAY better than the US side.

Sacred grove pic - this pic shows the dire need for haircuts in our family! S has tons of religious questions all the time. The week before we had been discussing how we had the fullness of the gospel and how this is the only true church. When I was telling him about the 1st vision and how Joseph was told not to join any church because none of them had the fullness of the gospel. S got really serious and questioned me. I thought we had the truth - SERIOUS I am not ready to explain these things to a 5 yr old. I did my best and I think he understands.

Halloween - soccer players. They look like they belong in some Japanese animation show - that hair really needs to be cut!!

We made some cracker houses after FHE the other day. S looks hungry - he attacked it the next day.

Frosting fun with dad.

Man I can't believe I just wrote all that. A funny story. The other day S got off the bus from school and I noticed his pants had a big "I peed my pants spot". So I calmly asked - hey did you pee your pants at school? S had an enthusiastic answer of "YEAH!". I mean he sounded like isn't that great - so then J started saying - yeah I think I peed my pants in Kindergarten too!! We decided it was an experience not to miss in Kindergarten. I guess one day he will figure out its not too cool.

Catch up!!

It is great when you have friends that remind you that you are not performing in the blog area of your life. I will have to admit I have not really been performing in any part of my life. It is crappy!! First lets catch up a little - so much has gone on but I have been lazy with the pics. Both kids are still alive and what the heck - spoungebob loving!! How can your kids know everything about the bob when you don't even have tv? Well J knows everything - and if he is ever at your house - I am sure he will be trying to sneak some squarepants on your tube!!

These are the only pics I have to document the last who knows how long. Soccer season has ended and J is still obsessed and still wants to play. He got crazy good at the end - mostly because he got so aggressive. I wonder where he got that from - not me!! His last game he scored 3 goals - nice!!

This next picture is of the squishy one - I mean the squishy one besides me. He is the one that J sends at night when they are in bed. The one he sends out to say "daddy will you lay down with us?". I always look to K and say - J is smart - he always sends the squishy one. Look at all the squishyness!!!

How can 3 boys pick like 40 bucks worth of strawberries? K kept telling J to stop, but then you would look over and he'd be sneaking in another. I was more of a pick to eat person - so the only fruits of my labor was a full belly.

We did swim team this year - J and S rocked. We went to the practices because I really wanted them to improve on their strokes. We only went to one meet because we aren't those die hard swim people. I mean 6 am - give me a break. They weren't into the biker shorts either.
GO S!!
We sold our house and are closing in 6 days!! I am excited I guess. I mean K has been doing most of the packing because I have been feeling like junk. I just want it to all be over. I guess I have been feeling crappy because I am pregnant. THE P FAMILY IS SUPER EXCITED!! I am only 12 weeks and I am actually feeling a lot better - still nauseous all the time but at least the barfing has kind of subsided. 3 weeks of everyday barfing - at least once - would make us all feel like crap. I've got everyone on my side for pink except the J man. He wants the blue - he wants another squishy one that he can send out to do his dirty work. He also wants him to sleep in his room. J likes to pat my belly - which is quite LARGE and say there is a baby in there. I try to remind him that the baby is the size of my pinkie maybe.
I forgot about girls camp - I got to go when I was about 6 weeks. I napped 2 days during free time - I tried to shirk all heavy lifting, and I ate all day long! The girls were great and those camp song/cheers are HILARIOUS!!
To end this pathetic yet long over due post I am going to tell my 2 favorite barfing experiences!!
1-driving and barfing - lucky I had a bag in my lap cause I had been feeling yuck and 15 min before I had a false alarm. Then it happened instantaneously - I just started barfing!! Lucky I was on a smaller road near my house so I pulled over and kept my foot on the brake while I was finishing!! J was watching me and saying gross. While S, who was sitting behind me and couldn't see - was yelling "I want to see, show me, what color is it!!". I just ignored him cleaned up and drove home for a nap.

2-Doing it in the toilet where it should be done. My toilet was really clean from frequent usage - I even just kept the boys stool near it so I could sit down if I wanted to. Anyways it was one of those times and as my body was rejecting everything in it, the projectiles hit the water and created a big splash. So big in fact the water splashed up onto my face. Gross - causing more rejection. Lesson learned - flush first if you can, to lower the water level!!

Well we are super excited about everything!! We get to go to CA for 3 weeks in Aug. - I am hoping to feel wonderful and until then survival is my motto!!

Again!

Man I am getting good at this blogging. I was thinking today that we have been enjoying wonderful weather. Mostly because we have cold weeks still and days of PERFECT weather. I know it will all end soon and my life will be a sticky hell. Seriously sticky - who likes humidity anyways? I will enjoy the perfection until it ends.

J has some SERIOUS lip issues. He gets cold sores like mad. He just had one last week on his lower lip - then this MONSTER busted out. This is the biggest one I have ever seen on J. It actually got bigger than in the pic and then while he was playing out back it got so big it had to pop. His lip is on the mend but he will have these beasts for life.

Weekends are always good - we got our little pathetic garden in thanks to K. I am a total slacker without Julie here to help me be motivated. He weeded and got it all ready while I mowed the lawn. A good deal any day. While the clearing was being done with 5 willing kids to help - they found 3 baby rabbits. We had to move them and they are probably going to die. We did dig a hole and put all the fur and junk in the hole with them so hopefully the mom can smell them out. I am doubting she will want anything to do with them after we handled them. Last year when pruning/hacking to death a bush we moved a Robin's nest with those beautiful eggs. The boys just couldn't keep their curiosity down and eventually knocked the nest down - I am wondering if that will happen with the rabbits.

Here is a pic of the - word to your mother - chair I reupholstered. Of course I didn't think of this on my own. Miss ever rockin DeAnn got the idea. I found 3 chairs at a thrift store upholstered in yellow vinyl or something hideous. DeAnn of course picked my fabric and hers and we went to work. Hers looks amazing too - it is a black and white fabric - she will post it one day. It makes me want to do another one.

New York

I got called a SLACKER again - this time by Jen who blogs less than me!! LAME-O, she may use the excuse of pregnancy or working 60 hour weeks - I don't want to hear ANY OF IT!! I will forgive since I got to chill with her a bit last Friday night.

I got to spend the last two weekends in New York - it was AMAZING!! The first weekend was without the kids - enough said. I got to just chill with an old friend Olivia. She is the queen of knowing the best, I mean the BEST, little bakery's in NY. I ate two chocolate chocolate cookies that were each over an inch thick and four inches in diameter. In my defense it took me a whole day to eat the first one. The second one I ate on the train ride home - it was delayed 3.5 hours because the train in front of us hit someone. So I didn't mean to eat the whole thing - it was due to unforeseen circumstances!! She did make me walk like 40 miles in the 2.5 days I was there - so the cookies couldn't have been that bad. My favorite part was walking over the Brooklyn Bridge - awesome!! Weird to say about a bridge but true..

Before the NY trips there was crazy hair day at J's school.. His hair was really long so it could be really crazy - he loves to have it spiked. I told K to make sure they had a bath at least before church. I got home to dirty kids - which who really cares - but the red hair. J still had pink tinted hair and a red scalp. Someone at church noticed it and thought maybe J's head was bleeding - nope just left over paint.

The next weekend was a family trip. It was excellent family time. You know it was a good vacation when at the end of every night, the boys were complaining that their legs were hurting. We did Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty first. J said that was his favorite part - I wish we could have done the audio tour - but kids can only handle so much. We hit the Empire State Building after that - at J's request. Of course we didn't pay to go up to the top. On the way home S was obsessed with finding a SpongeBob Popsicle that we saw earlier in the day. He informed me that if I didn't find one he was going to whine all night. TURD!! He settled for tic tacs - who knows. We spent the next day in Central Park - the zoo and then the park. The park is beautiful and K loved it. Those huge rocks provided ample climbing time and I took a NAP!! That is right - it is totally normal - i mean if people can hang around shirtless or snuggling or making out - I can take a nap. There were two ladies next to me who had the same idea. We finished the day playing soccer - for like 3 hours. In the end J and I figured out how to shut out K, and we perfected our celebratory hand slap, complete with sound effects.

SpongeBob Popsicles - FINALLY!!

We came home the next day in time for swimming, more soccer, and a BBQ at the neighbors. All in all a rockin weekend. I almost forgot about the fireworks - in CA we watch fireworks on the 4th - maybe. Here we do fireworks on every occasion possible and there are no such things as fire hazards - as long as you don't do them in your house you are safe.

Happy Mother's Day Week

Well I would probably not be posting... but a good friend (Jenea) was visiting another good friend (Julie) in Utah this past weekend. Julie told Jenea I was a blogging "SLACKER" - what the heck woman. Now I am going to blog to be labeled "UNSLACKER" for a day.

I have to blog about junk that happened in my life so I will blog about the awesome Mother's Day Week I had. My own amazingly cool mom was here the whole week before Mother's Day - that is why it was a freakinfantabulousweek. We ate out - way too much - we saw movies - and we read books. We did absolutely nothing productive - I really mean absolutely NOTHING she even gave me dirty looks when I told her she had to make her bed.

We did go to Mother's Day Tea at J's school. It was nice - J was crazy to really show that he can act up when mom and grandma are around. His poem did say I was cool - but it also said I like TV.. DANG YOU J - I don't even have bunny ears to get lame channels like PBS. I will admit that I like to watch movies at night - but couldn't he have said my mom likes to READ - honestly!! At least he didn't say I was fat or something (totally not TRUE)!

Then on Friday K took piddle and diddle (J&S) to fathers and sons. Actually he and two other dads made their own fathers and sons because they didn't want to drive 3.5 hrs to get to the real one. 6 boys, 7 and under made for good times. They did s'mores, played soccer, went on a hike, and did this GPS find the treasure thing. The box they found was full of girly treasure - needless to say they didn't feel the need to take anything and replace it with something of their own.

The boys swinging on a vine..

The sad ladies left at home had to find something to do - so we ate out, watched a movie, came home to watch a movie, and woke up to eat breakfast at the Hershey Pantry (sooo good). Are you detecting a pattern? Then I put the old lady back on a plane for CA and I had a couple of hours till the boys got home. In those hours Sandra came over and we went for HUGE sodas at Turkey Hill - NICE!!

The real Mother's Day was the day to end the week of slothfulness - and as always K delivered. I came home from church to the boys giving me a catalogue (a card showing what I could buy at K's Secret Store) and money with their faces on it. K's Secret Store had 2 chocolate roses and a pack of SNOWBALLS that I could buy. (SNOWBALLS ROCK - hostess cakes covered in marshmallows and coconut) He even threw in some flowers. After that exciting shopping my day was filled with napping and reading. Serious - I read the whole latest Fablehaven book - it was so CRAZY GOOD!! I did take a break to eat the amazing meal K prepared. The amazing thing about it was that he prepared it using the 3 ingredients that were in my refrigerator - I REALLY needed to go to the store!!
The day ended with stuffed bellies attacking. The boys were leading but I know it was the big K mans idea. They came and found me with their large bellies and squished me - then they began to kiss me like crazy. It was quite comical when the littlest belly stuffer of all, couldn't really get his belly in the action; so he was content with kissing my hand that was outside of all the commotion.

Goin back to Cali!!

Do you remember that LL Cool J song.. Anyways it has been a while but it is official - K has signed a contract and we are going back April 2010. Of course I am excited - we will only be 4.5 hrs from the family. I have been super lazy in the blogging thing - partly because I couldn't download my dang pictures - what the heck!

A lot of crazy crap has been going on. Let me tell you something that will make you all jealous - I GET TO GO TO GIRLS CAMP!! I will admit that I am scared of the girls, but everything else sounds fun. I even get to go on a canoe trip in May with my group - 4Th years.

We went to Myrtle Beach way back when for about 5 days and it rocked. It was a little cold but we were able to hit the beach, hit the mini golf courses, and hit sonic everyday for a cherry limeade!! We also went to the Ripley's Aquarium which K loved the most (weirdo) - he especially loved the part about the invention of the first incubators for babies.

A Velcro wall which K had LOTS of fun with!!

The beach

This was J's face after the sand fight he and K had - good thing the beach was pretty deserted.

Our pathetic castle skills

J is full in soccer season and loving it. I can't say I love games and practices - plus it frustrates me when I see him not staying in his position. Good thing I am not the coach. I have so many pics and so little time, but to give a little insight into J's soul. These stickers were on his valentines envelope to collect all the valentines. "Who needs Cupid?" "Love Stinks" "Hearts, Flowers, Chocolate, WHATEVER.." I will be honest and say I LOVE IT!! Keep up the good work J.

S is enjoying life - right now he is into dressing in all yellow so he looks like a baby chick. This could be a problem! For now I just say right on. We did just get a baby chick pet - she is named Big Yellow. She eats a lot to keep up with the inspiring name. The neighbors got 5 besides the Big Yellow so she needed to stay with the others and it makes my job easy. Of course we have full visitation rights. We have put our house on the market - that has made my life crazy!! First all the junk to do and now to keep it clean. S was talking to the neighbor girl who was saying that lots of people have been looking at our house. S was quick to respond " yeah they are looking, but too late, we already bought it!!" J literally prays that we don't sell it and I am tired of trying to tell them that selling would be a good thing.
